One dollar can make a life of a difference. So that is why we ask $1 per bookmark. You can do the same, and change a life. So we ask you to help us raise funds for the Sri Aurobindo Ashram Orphanage and all of the children and a few mothers who live there.

 

If you want to donate, please go directly to the Alternative Education Resource Organization's page for Sri Aurobindo. You can read updates on how much money has been raised, how they are doing, and also go to a link to donate. If you donate, email us at bookmarksfornepal@gmail.com and we'll send you a bookmark. 

 

If you are in Charlotte, you can email us and pick up bookmarks to buy and our school, ALC Mosaic, will collect money from in person sales and make a large donation at the end of the month. 

 

 

You can also make your own bookmarks to sell and then donate money to Sri Aurobindo yourself through the AERO Website! 

 

All you need are:

 

1 Large roll of grey/colored/with designs Duck Tape

1 roll of scotch tape

Lots of permanent markers

Any kind of yarn or twine(That is strong enough to hold up)

 

Lay a 1' 8'' long peice of yarn out flat in a straght line.

Measure 1' 6" long peice of duck tape and lay it straight on top of the string. There should be a 2 inch long string hanging off of one end, and no string visible on the other. Take the end of the string and fold it into a loop. Now fold the tape over the string by width so that you have one long duck tape bookmark shape and with a loop at the end. Make sure to tape down the loop so that you would be able to hang the bookmark on something. Now personalize! (Well, almost). Write something that has to do with Nepal like this;
